A hardy and easy-to-grow perennial herb in USDA Zoners 5 to 9, True Greek Oregano forms a nice rounded mound or low hedge up to 18 inches tall and 2 to 3 feet wide in the garden. It prefers a sunny to partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. It can also be grown in containers and indoors as a houseplant in a well-lit room.
