Description
Younique Astilbe varieties were bred for earlier bloom time, increased flower production, and higher tolerance to heat and drought. 'Younique White' reaches 18 inches tall and equally as wide when in full bloom, making it a fine choice for smaller garden spaces or in containers. It features abundant, fluffy, pyramidal plumes of pearl-white flowers that rise on sturdy stems above mounds of fern-like, green foliage. Absolutely beautiful! The long-lasting flower panicles are excellent for cutting and use in fresh or dried flower arrangements. A charming, hardy, and easy-to-grow perennial that will light up shady garden beds and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits turn their nose up at it.

The flowers are superb for cutting and display in fresh or dried floral arrangements. The upright flower spires rise above a mound of divided foliage which emerges mahogany-red in spring gradually turning to bronze-green. A vigorous grower and very easy to grow Fanal will bloom even during the hot summer
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing to around 18 inches tall with an equal spread, Younique White Astilbe is ideal for use as an accent in smaller garden spaces, container gardens, or in groupings in shady to partially shaded garden beds and borders. A fine addition to cottage gardens, cut-flower gardens, white-themed gardens, and woodland gardens.
Suggested Spacing: 14 to 16 inches apart for mass plantings; 30 inches apart for space between plants
Growing Preferences
Younique White Astilbe is very easy to grow in consistently moist, but well-drained, soil of average or better fertility, in part shade to full shade. Feed plants in early spring with a good, slow-release flower fertilizer or organic plant food. Foliage can be trimmed to the ground in winter or early spring before new growth emerges.
